I haven't offered an update on the building process in a while, so here are some photos to update anyone who may be interested...

First off, over the last few years, many of us toted several tons of ancient logs from an old log cabin from one place to another (a few times!) and perhaps we were beginning to wonder if it was all for naught... But No! as you can see, the old log cabin, which once was, is once again.

Reuse, recycle, repeat.

Practice resurrection!

This is mainly for our local friends, family and church family, but I thought I'd share the poster for the event on this page.

We've actually had an unofficial Apple Cider Festival for three years or so, now, and this year is probably not any more official than last, but there's a poster now, and that makes it official...

tactile
enticing
entrancing
about fresh tall spring clover
that makes me want to lie down
and spread my fingers
through their stems
and swim like a fool
in their great green depths...

on the backside of the ridge
broken by nothing
but the cool lonesome wind

And sitting on the hillside
overlooking the valley
tangled only by briars
and disrupted only by birdsong

there is a peace, wanting to be claimed
